Seat scorecard

Which Seat Should Be AI First?

Most owners start with the wrong process, get no result, and conclude AI does not work. Score one seat and start where the work actually pays back.

Pick one seat in your business. Not your whole company, one seat: quoting, scheduling, invoicing, customer follow-up, reporting, hiring intake, purchasing. Answer ten questions about that seat and you will get a verdict plus the specific thing to fix before you hand it over.

For your own notes, for example: quotes and follow-up.

Seat scorecard0 of 10 answered

1. How much of this work is the same thing over and over?

Think about the last full month in this seat.

2. Could you write the rules for doing this work on two pages?

If two smart people would do it differently, the rules are not written yet.

3. Is the information this work needs already digital and reachable?

Reachable means a system can read it, not that it exists in an inbox.

4. If this work were done wrong once, what would it cost you?

Be honest about the worst realistic case, not the average one.

5. How much of this seat is relationship and trust building?

Logistics and coordination are not relationships. Trust is.

6. How hard is it to hire and keep a good person for this seat?

Difficult seats are the ones worth solving another way.

7. How many hours a week does this seat cost you or a key person today?

Include the interruptions, not just the scheduled work.

8. How fast does this work need to happen?

Fast, repetitive, and time-bound work is where AI employees are strongest.

9. How sensitive is the information this seat touches?

Sensitivity does not disqualify a seat, it changes how you set it up.

10. How easy is it to check whether the work was done right?

If you cannot verify it, you cannot safely hand it over.
