How to buy a business through Vasana
Vasana lists confidential, vetted businesses for sale — from small owner-operated companies to large privately held enterprises. Every listing is a privately held business, prepared by our consulting team and priced based on real financials. You browse by industry, location, and asking price, then request access by signing a non-disclosure agreement online. Once approved, you receive the full financial snapshot, tax returns, and a confidential buyer brief with the company name and details.
We work with individual investors, family offices, and strategic buyers looking to acquire a company in the Midwest and beyond. Whether you are buying your first business or adding to a portfolio, our team helps you evaluate the opportunity, run due diligence, structure the offer, and transition the business after closing.
Every listing is reviewed and prepared before it goes live
Each business you see here has been reviewed and prepared by our consulting team before it is listed. We work closely with the seller to gather the financials, understand the operation, and put together an honest, complete picture — so what you see on the listing is an accurate representation, not a teaser.
After you sign the NDA and are screened as a serious buyer, you receive the full picture — the company name, complete financial statements, tax returns, and any additional information you need to evaluate the opportunity and move forward with confidence.

Frequently asked questions about buying a business
How do I buy a business listed on Vasana?
Browse the listings, find one that fits your criteria, and click to request access. You will sign a non-disclosure agreement online. Once approved, we send you the full financial snapshot, tax returns, and confidential buyer brief with the company name and details.
Why are the company names hidden?
The businesses for sale are still operating, and the owners do not want employees, customers, or competitors to know the business is for sale. We protect that confidentiality until a buyer signs an NDA and is verified as a serious, qualified acquirer.
What information do I get before signing the NDA?
Each public listing shares the industry, state or general location, asking price, annual sales, gross revenue, SDE or EBITDA (whichever we are computing), team summary, reason for sale, and an opportunity summary — enough to gauge fit. The company name, full financial statements, tax returns, and confidential photos are released only after the NDA is signed and you have been screened.
Do you only list businesses in Ohio?
No. We work with sellers and buyers in every state except a few where we are not licensed to operate. Use the search to filter by location or industry.
What size businesses do you list?
Our listings range from small owner-operated companies to large privately held enterprises — some with real estate included. Asking prices vary — use the price filter to find opportunities in your range.
Can I get help with financing and due diligence?
Yes. We help buyers evaluate the opportunity, connect with lenders (including SBA loan options), run due diligence, structure the offer, and transition the business after closing.

List & sell your businessAlready acquired — or about to?

How we help buyers transitionNeed Funding for Your Acquisition?
Most business acquisitions are financed with a combination of a bank loan, seller financing, and your own cash. We are not a lender and we do not provide financing. After a short conversation to understand your acquisition and your needs, we can introduce you to lenders in our network. All loans, credit decisions, rates, and terms are set by those third-party lenders, not by us.
SBA 7(a) Loans
The most common way to finance a small business acquisition. Up to $5M, typically 10% down, with 10-year terms and competitive rates for owner-occupied businesses.
Seller Financing
The seller carries part of the purchase price as a note. Often combined with a bank loan to reduce the cash you need up front and align the seller with your success.
Conventional Loans
Traditional bank financing for established, profitable businesses with strong cash flow. Faster to close than SBA, but usually requires a larger down payment and collateral.
Financing disclosure
Vasana is a business brokerage and advisory firm, not a lender. We do not provide financing, make credit decisions, issue loans, or act as a loan broker. Any references to SBA loans, seller financing, or conventional loans on this page are for general education only. After a short conversation to understand your needs, we may introduce you to third-party lenders in our network. All financing, credit decisions, rates, fees, and terms are determined solely by those independent lenders, and any agreement you reach is between you and that lender. If Vasana receives any referral fee or compensation from a lender in connection with an introduction, that arrangement will be disclosed to you in writing. This form is a request for an introductory conversation and is not a loan application; submitting it does not commit you to any lender or loan product.
